Its been a busy day, it started off at breakfast time with confirmation that the overflowing dog poo bins on The Bankeyfields Estate would be emptied today, great news as I only sent the e mail at 11.00pm last night.
My next job was to report the possibility of child abuse, not a pleasant thought, once again I had a quick respone from Social Services who got back to me in the hour and were doing an immediate visit. Then it was a quick trip to the police station to arrange a meeting about the anti social behaviour on Bankeyfields. Another successful mission as we are meeting tomorrow.
Then it was off to the Civic Centre for a good 2 hours work, I cant go into details about this as they are personnel problems from people who have contacted me direct. But I can honestly say that all of the officers I have dealt with today have gone out of their way to be helpful.
This was followed by a trip to Hurricane Grove to look at a problem with a mast up there, or should I say hairdryer!! More work to do on that one.
This was then followed by a visit to some of my constituents who had asked to see me. And very pleasant that was, with a much needed glass of juice throw in.
Now its back to leaflet folding, ah well only another 12.000 to do.
